Seattle from Air.

Alight on moody blues and overcast greys,
swinging over the Emerald City greens,
a small helicopter collects itself
then darts on like a tiny smart-car sized insect.
A dragonfly.
It lunges headfirst into the wind and slanted rain,
carrying pilot and passenger over forest and skyscraper.
In and out, a gentle bob and weave.
Happy and determined, this tiny flying shelter, an escape.
